crazywin Geraldine Jennings not Anthony Jennings’ sister, but open to playing siblings
Geraldine Jennings has set the record straight—she is not the sister of Anthony Jennings. They just have the same surname and they’re coincidentally of British-Filipino descent.
The newbie British-Irish-Filipino star clarified that she’s not related to Anthony during a media conference in Quezon City when asked if she’s the “Can’t Buy Me Love” star’s sister.
Article continues after this advertisement“It would be nice to play his sister or something like that. Hindi kami (We’re not) related. But yeah, it would be nice,” she said.

Geraldine is currently in the Philippines to promote her new single “If I Will Ever Love Again,” composed by Ogie Alcasid. She is also the lead actress in the upcoming film “Isla Babuyan” which also stars Jameson Blake, Nathalie Hart, Lotlot de Leon, Paolo Gumabao, Dave Bornea, and James Blanco.

I joined singing competitions sa London, sa UK, but when I moved to Los Angeles, I took up acting… so that’s where I learned to love the craft. I took acting classes in West Hollywood so I would say both. And they’re quite similar, so both,” she said.
Geraldine, who currently studies at the University of London, had the chance to study acting in Los Angeles. But she doesn’t see herself taking up roles in Hollywood right away, as she wanted to develop her acting skills first.
Article continues after this advertisement“I want to start slow and little. You have to build yourself up [with small roles first] before going to Hollywood,” she said.
As she navigates her budding showbiz career in the Philippines, Geraldine said it’s a “lot of hard work” which many of her colleagues possess.
“I would really say that it’s a lot of hard work. People who are not in showbiz that it’s really easy to act, and to come here, but it’s a lot of hard work. I really respect a lot of my co-stars who work hard and work late hours,” she said.
